O SULA é uma conferência de linguística bianual cujos objetivos são reforçar a conexão entre o trabalho de campo em semântica e a teoria semântica e promover o estudo de problemas de semântica das línguas das Américas que não receberam muita atenção nas fases iniciais da semântica teórica (elas incluem as línguas ameríndias, as línguas de sinais, crioulos, sejam oficialmente falados ou não, mas também variedades não padrão de línguas nacionais, entre outras) O 13th SULA (Semantics of Under-represented Languages of the Americas) será sediado na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC, Brasil, de 28 a 31 de outubro de 2024. Busca aprofundar as interações entre semântica-pragmática e educação. Nesta edição agrega o encontro sobre a “In)definitude em línguas sub-representadas” (Project CNPq 420314/2022-9).
SULA is a biannual linguistics conference whose goals are to strengthen the connection between semantic fieldwork and semantic theory and to foster the study of problems of semantics in languages of the Americas that had not received much attention in the early development of theoretical semantics (these include Amerindian languages, sign languages, and creoles, whether official or not where they are spoken, but also nonstandard varieties of national languages, among others). 13th SULA (Semantics of Under-represented Languages of the Americas) will take place at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC, Brazil on October 28th to 31st, 2024. It aims to deepen the interactions between semantics-pragmatics, and education. Moreover, this edition hosts the workshop of “In-definiteness: the perspective of under-represented languages” (Project CNPq 420314/2022-9).
